о спектакле
The company ranges in ages from 8 to 26 and has been specially formed from the youth of Kingston and around for this production. Frank Whately and David Nield both worked with the National Youth Music Theatre and, with Jeremy James Taylor, wrote the first version of this piece for them, performing it as “October’s Children” at Tiffin school, in the Edinburgh Festival and at Sadler’s Wells.
“Natasha”, based on “October’s Children” is the fascinating story of a gang of homeless children who struggle to survive in the cellars of St. Petersburg during the Russian Revolution. They are thrown into the company of Natasha, a young aristocrat, lost and bewildered by the riots and turmoil in the streets of the city.
‘This stunning new epic musical…moves you to tears”. The Scotsman
